Woven Birds

These covers are made from handspun sheep´s wool that has been hand-woven and hand-dyed. They are woven on a traditional Aymara loom with pre-colonial patterns. They are very durable. Justina, our Aymara weaver hopes that "the promotion of traditional handwork will help to create a peaceful society where children do not have to suffer, where all children have the right to free healthcare and education."
